1)What are some of the things that schools in Singapore are doing in order to take care of the environment?
We had recycling bins have been placed in the class for the inter-class recycling competition.Environmental Representatives are rostered to take down used paper, cans and bottles.

2)Do you think one person's effort in reducing, reusing and recycling wil make a diference in saving the environment ? What steps have you taken in the effort to save the earth?
Yes, Recycling is essential to cities around the world and to the people living in them.In school,we can reduce by pinning notices on notice boards instead of making copies to distribute,switch off light, fan and electronic appliances when not in use and use refillable soap and drinks dispensers instead of providing individual packets. Reuse by using both sides of paper for writing, calculations and problem solving etc,Reuse plastic and glass containers as pots for planting and lastly pass unwanted textbooks and assessment books to others.we can also recycle by setting up a recycling programme in school,participate in our school's recycling programme,purchase and use recycled products,make recycled paper at home and decorate it for use as a greeting card or wrapping paper and purchase greenlabelled products. Its believed that reducing, reusing and recyclying make a difference in saving the environment
